Dr. Arup Das has held executive leadership roles in corporate healthcare. As Group Medical Director at Marengo Asia Hospitals and Group Chief of Medical Services at Care Hospitals, he was responsible for clinical governance, patient safety, quality assurance, and ESG programs. He has led some of the largest Armed Forces hospitals, including a 1000+ bed tertiary care center.
In addition to his administrative roles, Dr. Das has a strong background in medical education. As the former Dean and Head of ENT at the Armed Forces Medical College, he led key reforms in medical training and curriculum development. He has managed DNB programs, fellowships, and international medical training, and has contributed as a reviewer for the Healthcare Sector Skills Council of India. As an Institute Body member of AIIMS Kalyani, he is involved in policymaking, staff selection, and academic oversight.
For his contributions to healthcare and service to the nation, Dr. Das was honored with the Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM), the highest peacetime award for distinguished service.
